Edith Finlay (aka Jane Langdon)

This early picture of Edith Finlay, (aka Jane Langdon) has recently surfaced.  It was released following her dismissal (on the grounds of gross misconduct) from the Special Branch of the Metropolitan Police.  It was feared that as the truth about her 'overly aggressive' interrogation techniques became known, it would cause a rush of appeals from convicts looking to overturn their convictions on the basis of forced confessions.   

One of her more infamous cases involved her knocking a suspect's tooth out, then forcing him to swallow it.  Her defense was "he got off light, I was going to shove it up his arse and make him taste the bullshit that he was telling me."

Now incarcerated in a woman's prison, she founded a gang and runs the trade in illegal contraband.  Known to rule with an iron fist, Edith is tolerated by the prison management as she keeps some kind of order amongst the inmates that may otherwise not exist.
