About Ro and Angel

Ro Trent

Rowena Trent started her working life as a sex-worker in Gravesend, Kent, UK. She followed in the footsteps of her mother, known in the town as Fat Mona. When Chuds Douglas retuned to the town, after almost 20 years abroad, she ended up working for him, and when her mother died in a suspicious fire, she took the emotional support that Chuds offered her. Chuds encouraged her to develop her business skills, and eventually they fell in love and married. She gave up sex work, and threw herself into the development and growth of their businesses. As the businesses developed she and Angel became recognizable local characters and helped to nurture the careers of many of their colleagues.

Angel Trent

Ro first met Angel while on a business trip/vacation in The Philippines, with her late husband, Chuds Douglas. She was the hotel assigned driver that took them sightseeing, but there was an instant, and mutual, attraction between Ro and Angel. She has a business management degree, but like so many people in the Philippines she followed the path of money, to support her family, and ended up driving in Metro Manila. When Chuds and Ro set up a business in General Santos they hired Angel to run their office. She became an invaluable asset and when Chuds died she became emotional support for Ro. Eventually they married in the UK, and she became an equal partner in all of the businesses.
